Sunday 25th July, 16.30-21.00 – Parc of Collserola (Barcelona) 

The Welcome Event  will take place in the Parc of Collserola, the natural park surrounding Barcelona. The spot is in between Barcelona city centre and the UAB Campus and you can easily reach it by train from Plaza Catalunya in about 30 minutes. You should take the FGC train S1 or S2 and get off at the stop Baixador de Vallvidrera. At the station you should follow the arrows that show you the way (10 mins walking).

This first (half) day of the summer school is crucial for situating and introducing ourselves in/to the group. This day we will build the basis for having a fruitful exchange over the next almost two weeks – by sharing and connecting, on personal and academic level. It is a mandatory day for all participants.

Finally, we will celebrate the beginning of the school with vegetarian and vegan ecological dinner in a natural and relaxing environment. The entire session on Sunday will be open-air, in the forest.
