Practice of mapping environmental conflicts – Daniela Del Bene and Arnim Scheidel

In this second session on the EJatlas, the group of participants will be split into two. In one group we will work on the cases of environmental conflict suggested by the participants themselves and add them to the database. The second group will be further researching on some questions through the filter function and reflect on its implications. Two of these can be:

1.       How does the time of mobilization affect successful/failure of resistance?

2.      Is there any connection between actors involved and legal cases (Court victories/failure)?

Participants will be invited to suggest other research questions and formulate some first tentative hypothesis.
