Monday 25th June, 10.00-11.30, ICTA – UAB Campus
This introductory lecture of the summer school is an attempt to contextualize the world we live in today. To understand why we wish to make sense by democracy, non-violence and conviviality, we need to understand the prevalent power dynamics and inequalities, often marred by violence that exists globally. This lecture will bring in perspectives from the global South, and provide the setting for the entire summer school, linking it with the different lectures and workshops to be conducted in the following days.
